Hi! I'm back on the boards after having my son 3 1/2 years ago. We found out a month ago we were pregnant. My DH found out first...I took the test, forgot I took the test and left it on the vanity where he saw it, lol! Had to go to the ER yesterday because of spotting (my OB didn't have office hours). The PA walks through the door, and after trying for two years I thought we were gonna get bad news, and she just said, "Congratulations! It's TWINS!" I totally dropped the F-bomb in the hospital...I'm excited
...but scared
...

Awe congrats!!! That is funny about your DH finding out first, as there is no way you could have pried that pee stick out of my hand before the results popped up
Here's to a happy & health 9 mos!
congrats and welcome!
so they did an u/s? you didn't see it being done? do you know if they're mo/di or di/di?

isn't this supposed to just "appear" on every post I make...ugh pregnancy brain
This. I didn't want to be skeptical, but how did the doctor walk in the door telling you? Shouldn't you have been told while they were doing the ultrasound?
I am confused...
ah, i see. i never had an u/s in the ER.
good that they're di/di, less high risk. (and it's dichorionic, not necessarily dizygotic. sorry. i am a little too informed about all this stuff.)
oh, and aren't 3.5 year old boys fun?

I guess I was typing and didn't see the reply above my last post.
Congratulations and welcome!
Oh my goodness! I have my hands full with the one, never mind three! But I guess they manage to keep themselves occupied, no? Yes, excited they each have their own sac, one less thing I need to worry about, as I am high-risk to begin with (multiple instances of endometriosis, and ovarian cysts, plus a late loss)
Don't feel bad about being too "informed", I am a semester away from getting my Early Childhood Associates Degree, and the last class I took was in Child Development, birth-two, lol!
aw, thanks!

I forgot...in the ER, there's a section where each bed is separated by a curtain, but then there is a little wing with 4 tiny rooms, and I was in one of those...:)
