Can I go to bed now?

Yesterday and today so far have ranked as the most exhausted I've been in a long while. Yesterday, I worked from 8:30-3:30, tutored from 4:30-5:30 then came home and took a 2 hour nap. We didn't eat until 9:30. Today, I worked from 8:30-3:00, went to the doctor from 3:30-4:00, came home and took another 2 hour nap. At this point, I've been awake from my nap for 2 hours and am ready to go back to bed.

How will I survive tomorrow? I have work, tutoring AND I have a work dinner celebrating the end of the school year at 6:30. I am going to come home and go directly to bed!

How long does this exhaustion thing last again? Because I still have to fold the laundry...

  • A few more weeks and you should be back to your normal energy level...hang in there!

  • I felt remarkably so much better around 15-16 weeks. Of course, the exhaustion is starting to hit me again now...but ignore that I told u that and just enjoy your second tri ;)

  • I'm so sorry.  I found out I was pg the last day of school.  All summer, I would get up, go teach summer school, come home, have lunch, and go to bed for the night (at about 3pm).  It was finally better just as school started.  I call it 1st trimester sleeping sickness.  Hope it ends soon for you!
  • I really popped out of that funk right around 13-14 weeks.  Isn't it crazy to think that the itty bitty gummie bear looking thing inside of you is so, so incredibly busy developing that it takes that much energy from you to keep it going?  I found that to be one of the most fascinating parts of my pregnancies because it just doesn't seem possible but oh boy is it ever!

Good luck tomorrow (today), maybe you can put in a quick appearance at the work thing and then dash home for some sleep.
