Have any of you seen the Invisalign Teen commercial? With the ID twin girls, one who has Invisalign Teen and the other with regular braces? What kind of MoM would do this? "Sorry guys, I only have money for one of you to get the Invisalign. So who wants to look like a nerd?" Ok, random thought over!

i haven't seen that - but i like to think that the parents asked the teens "hey, wanna be on a commercial by doing this?" and they said "YEAH!" and flipped a coin over who'd get the invisilign.

I mean, come on- most teens get regular braces... it's not like it's uncommon to see a teen with braces.... so it's not that horrible that one had them and one didn't.  They both got straight teeth in the end- and were on a commercial (and I assume lots of money or at least free dental work)... so it's not THAT bad- as long as the kids were up for it.

I don't think the OP is bashing the parents of the girls in the commercial.  I'm sure they have fake braces. 

What I think she's saying is, who in real life would do that?  I thought the same thing when I saw the commercial
