NOTHING is helping. It hit 99 today and the humidity is close to matching. The a/c has barely kept it below 85 in the house. I've kept the blinds closed, the lights off, and the fans going and I still feel like I'm melting. My beautiful wonderful 17 month old daughter isn't helping with her need/desire to use me as a jungle gym....

how are you coping with the heat??

I find that the best place for me is the pool or beach. I have this awesome float and I just chill in the water. As for your AC, do you have it set lower than 85? If so, your unit may be frozen or need a checkup- that just doesn't seem right. We live in SC and it is just as hot here. We have our AC set on 74. It runs alot, but it is keeping the house relatively cool. I have also heard that putting your sheets or pillow cases in the freezer is awesome! I hope it gets better for you.

I don't have AC and it has been in the mid to upper 90's. I usually sit around in a sports bra and shorts. I also eat lots and lots of Sonic slushies.

I plan ahead for the bad days and go to the beach. If I can't, I make sure I have a reason to go to the store and stand in the freezer isle for  a bit around 3 pm when it is the worst. 

Can you make a game out of taking a cool bath with LO? Pretend like you are at the pool.

After a cool shower I stand in front of a fan with my arms over my head.
