Two Under 2

birthday party woes. WWYD?

WWYD in my shoes --

my little ones bdays are a month apart (Oct 1, Nov 18) so I had been considering doing a joint party for their 2nd & 3rd birthday - because  I was worried that asking family to come to 2 different parties so close in time may be a bit much.

HOWEVER... my sister is due with twins (yay!) early november, but she has been told they won't allow her to exceed 38 weeks -- (if she goes that long)...

that's right around when I'd have a joint party...

Help me not stress about something so silly as party timing - should I just do it earlier in October , or later in November?

  • I'd plan for it in November.

  • I'd plan it for when it's mst convenient for you. With being that pg, there's always the chance that your sister might not make it - ie bedrest, early labor, or she's just plain too tired. She'll understand that you have to plan it when it's good for you, and you'll surely understand if she can't make it for whatever reason.

I was thinking along those same lines as well.
