in Pregnant after a Loss

i've been feeling pretty moderate as far as the hormones go but today, after not so DH was being a prick i lost it.  in the file room.  so of course i was stuck in there til i could compose myself enough to get to the bathroom.  where of course i discovered blood shot, puffy eyes. 

i know he is just worried but sitting in a restaurant where there is a smoking section that i am not in is not going to cause something bad to happen!  and HELLO! didn't we learn last time that it is out of our control??  i wasn't smoking or inhaling smoke!  $hit people smoke while they're pg!  does he expect me to live in a bubble??  like i would do something to intentionally harm myself or the baby???  WTF is his problem????

    Okay.... don't be mad at me for saying this but... ?I would not go to a restaurant where there were people smoking. ?Second hand smoke even for short periods of time is not good for you or baby. ?It's so foreign to me because you can't smoke anywhere in California which is great for pregnant ladies/non-smokers like me!?

    That said... just try to remember that he loves you and your little baby so much and is just being really protective because that's how men are programmed.

    I'm sorry honey. Men can be so frustrating....they are worried about us too, but I don't think they know what to do with hormonal pregnant wives Smile  Secondhand smoke isn't good for anyone, but for a short time, you are fine and didn't harm your little one. I'm thinking I'm going to need to take a lot of deep breaths with my DH this pregnancy, maybe you too?? GL. (((Hugs)))

    I'm so sorry!  Tell him that he has to take you out to lunch from now on to make sure that there is no smoke.

    Like Cloud, smoking sections are foreign to me - there are none in Maryland and I LOVE it.

    well here in MI, they haven't adopted that no smoking law yet but i wish they would.  cigarette smoke grosses me out & makes me sick. if i was even near secondhand smoke. i wouldn't have been able to be there very long let alone eat dinner & i would have left.  i'm not a complete idiot.  so although there was a smoking section, i was right by the door & didn't have to pass through smoking to get to where i sat.  i literally did not even smell any smoke while i was there.

    i know he's just worried but to flip out over that?  just annoying.  so of course i couldn't help my crying & he felt bad.  which serves him right.  jerk wad.
