DH and I have the opportunity to see U2 in Philly at the Lincoln Financial Center (a huge outdoor venue) this month. What do you guys think - is it ok to go to a concert like that or would it be too loud? We went to see Super 8 a few weeks ago and it was SO loud in the theater with all the special effects that I felt really bad for LO but I know she is well-protected in there and sound gets muffled. Any opinions?

Re: Curious.. would you go to a concert in your 3rd tri?
With my DD I went to a concert at 33 weeks and had a great time. She passed her hearing test when she was born and at 4.5 I would say that she has selective hearing but that is a learned behavior.
Enjoy the concert we were supposed to go here in DC but plans changed.

a great point - I am also concerned about the crowd but we wont be near the stage...

DMoney will be a kickass big sister
We are going to see Def Leppard in the middle of my 8th month. But I am not worried about it because I will be away from the stage and crazy people.
So I say go and enjoy it, as long as you are not by the stage or speakers.
