HI Ladies,
When did you start to really show with your twins? This is my first successful pregnancy and I am just about 20weeks. I have a small belly but not as much as I imagined that I would have since I am carrying two. I am still wearing my size 12 pants (I can button them but use a hair tie instead because it's more comfortable) and I can fully button my size 12 jeans. So far I have gained about 6 lbs.
They were 8oz each at our anatomy scan and the doctor said that everything looked good but I am worried that I am "too small". I guess I will be eating my words in a few months.
Any thoughts or experiences that you have would be appreciated!
I hope you all enjoyed the 4th!

Boy/girl twins born October 4, 2011
I had only gained 4lbs by 16w and like 12lbs by 20 weeks (if I remember that correctly) but gained the majority in my 3rd tri with a final lb total of 38. As long as they are growing good, there is no need to worry.
I didn't start showing until about 18w
I've been concerned that I haven't looked as obviously pregnant as a lot of the women I've seen online at similar stages, but it does seem to be SO individual. How strong your abdominal wall is, how long/short your torso is, whether you're starting to pop low, high or all over, whether you've had a previous pregnancy...maybe even the position of the babies. I find for me (I'm tall and on the slim side with a long torso and no previous pregnancies) how much I'm showing also depends on how bloated I am, how much I've had to eat, my bathroom visits (if you know what I mean) and especially what I'm wearing. If I wear jeans I show a lot less, but today I'm wearing a skirt with a foldover maternity panel and fitted t-shirt and you can really see my belly (though I'm still not huge - I'm 18w3d).
Anyway. Don't worry about it. If your babies are growing well at check ups it doesn't matter how much you're showing. I'm sure at some point you'll have a growth spurt...probably between now and 24 weeks. That's when it seems to happen for most women.
Congrats on your twins!
