I'm thinking about a natural birth for our last baby. But there are so many things out there-- what is your favorite/what do you feel worked the best? Hypnobabies/Ina May/doulas. . .
The #1 thing that helped me through labour was pilates. I didn't read Ina May or practice hypnobabies, etc. I simply exercised, focused on controlled breathing, and tried to keep relaxed and positive. I read a lot about my options and about different pain relief techniques...mostly from What to Expect When Expecting..... Sorry, I guess I'm not much help!
I took a Hypnobirthing class and thought the information in there was so valuable. I had a great experience and I credit much of that to Hypnobirthing.
I didn't read Ina May's book until I after I had DD (I'm a natural birth nerd I guess but I enjoyed it a lot it made me excited for labor and delivery again when the time comes.
