We are getting so many cute things and i'm not sure if I should get a closet organizer and hang most things, or fold them? We have plenty of room to do either. Thoughts?
So far I have folded almost everything, but all we really have is onsies and sleepers and a couple tshirts with pants.
I have a couple Halloween costumes I found at garage sales and a few sweaters and a snowsuit hanging in the closet. I don't know the sex of my baby, so if it's a girl I will hang all her dresses, if it's a boy I dunno what I will hang? "nice" outfits maybe? Haha

Folding. I have a dresser in LO's room & if I need more space than that, I also have a closet sweater organizer (hanging thingamajig with shelves) that I can use for his clothes & blankets.
I'm getting the closet organizer by koala at BRU and mostly onsies and sleepers near changing table in dresser and older outfits like 6mo+ in another dresser. Closet organizer should be good for blankets and odds and ends, cute outfits, etc.
I'm going to get a closet organizer. We don't have a dresser b/c the room is smaller b/c of the bookshelf in there. I'll hang nice, church clothes, coats, etc up, but the rest, fold.
I did have all folded in the dresser...and then we got MORE clothes at the shower. So many clothes... so, I pulled out ALL the smallest stuff and hung that up, so I am not confused on what I have... its mostly onsies, and a few not so onesie type jumpers.

With my sons, I just folded everything and put it in the dressers. We don't have any super fancy clothes that I worry about, so folding was just as easy. Also, living in an older home, we have little closet space.
I got so many clothes I had to sort them by size and only hang the smaller ones. I pretty much hung up everything except for sleepers and pants/shorts/skirts though.

Right now I'm hanging all her dresses, nicer clothes and the smaller sizes, but once her dresser gets here I'll probably fold the onsies and things that dont' hang well (like her baby jeans, skirts etc. All the bigger sized clothes will be put into bins I think according to size. Her dresser will not hold lots of clothes because we are cloth diapering and I know we will need space for that too. I'm planning on using a bin for her blankets, and burp rags as well.
Right now her socks, hats, pants, and sleeper sacks are folded but everything else (onesies, footies, dresses, etc.) are hung up. I only have one dresser in her room but a decent sized closet so hanging seems to be the way to go. I was also able to put in clothes rods on the sides of the closet (going front to back instead of side to side) so I have 4 different rods to hang things right now. The 0-3M is at the top, then I've got 6M, 9M and 12M on the other 3 rods.
One of my awesome friends is sending me a bunch of her baby's clothes soon though, so it may get rearranged all over again
The only things that I am folding are the plain white onesies, and sleepers, everything else clothing wise has been hung up. I have the plain onesies, sleepers, booties, socks, etc all together in the same dresser drawer, and his receiving blankets and towels in the drawer below for right now.

Folding everything. Hanging dresses and 2-piece outfits. For #1, I got one of those canvas square shoe hanging things. They must have a dozen shoe "shelves" and they were handing for baby shoes, a stack of diapers, manuals for baby accessories, and little pieces of gear that I didn't want her to be able to reach. Oh, and I also got one of those closet rods that dangles from your real closet rod to give you double the hanging space. That was a fantastic investment as she got older!
I am hanging all of his clothes (we do not have a whole lot yet). All of the blankets that he has received, as well as the socks and mittens are being put in drawers.

Re: what are you hanging vs. folding? (baby clothing)
I'll be folding onesies and little shirts and pants/skirts.
I'll be hanging dresses

I hung everything except plain onesies.
I have more closet space than dresser space and wanted the drawers for diapers, toys and supplies.
It's also a visual thing for me. I hang most of my own clothes so I can see what I have. It just seemed easier to me with baby too.
