I would have a hard time knowing how to say that. I'm assuming it's Ur-eye-ah...if so, and you decide to use it, I would recommend sticking with the traditional "Uriah". If it's to be pronounced like it's spelled, please just don't. It sounds terrible and made up.
Honestly, though, I'd pick a different name altogether. Every time I hear this name, I think of the words "urea", "urinal" and "urine". Not really the association I would want made with my child. Sorry!
haha, DH and I are UFC fans too, and I have always loved his name, which is where we came up with it (not necessarily named after him, but you get it). We've considered Elijah, but our last name starts with Eli___, not a good combo to us. Thanks for your comments, a friend said it reminded her of urine also, so I needed more general thoughts. I hate naming a boy. DH and I cannot agree on anything! And what we do the general public thinks is just a bad name to name a kid....ie Urijah.

Just food for thought: I went to elementary school with a Uriah who was endlessly tormented and called "urinal." He eventually began using his middle name because of the Uriah/urinal association.

I know a baby named this...I think this is how they spell it. He is super cute and they call him Yur-ee. It still makes me think of urine though when I see it written..
Re: Urijah?
Honestly, it looks lke you slapped Uri and Elijah together.
