Dumb, dumb question?

This is my stroller, https://kidslane.ca/Shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6453, the I'Coo Pacific.

If you were out for a walk with LO in the bassinet part, would you strap the baby in? My gut says yes, but a bunch of people are like "no you don't have to in a bassinet". But what if the stroller tipped? It kinda has a removable pad that can go on top of the straps, or you can put the straps through it.

Any thoughts?!

  • We've always strapped them in. Call it overprotective, but it makes the most sense to us.

  • I would also strap and I'm not the overprotective type at all.

  • Thanks ladies. Good point on the bugaboo bassinet option, I did know that. I guess I just play it by ear and go with what I'm comfortable with!

  • If it comes with straps, I would use them.

This is where I was confused, cause that's what I figured too. It has like a mattress pad part, and we actually had to alter the holes in the pad cause the plastic part of the straps didn't fit through the mattress pad part that you put over it. Very confusing!

  • i saw a woman pushing a stroller that got a small rock in the wheel. despite the rock being small it totally caused the stroller to tip over. her kid was hanging there, strapped in, nice and safe. she only had to nurse hurt feelings not a hurt body so my vote is for strapping. prior to this i mightve said differently but now i am going to strap my kid in 24/7.
