    I think it's a pretty day here, but I can't tell you for sure since my classroom is in the basement.  I wish I could hang out and post this afternoon but quarter grades are due Monday and I'm a little behind.

    My students turned in their first papers this week, so I have 45 4 page essays that I'm slogging through right now.  Not fun.

    OOH! It's a beautiful fall day here! Warm weather just passed and now it's crisp and clear. And there's leaves all over the street and sidewalk. This is my absolute favorite kind of day...

     

    except for when the cherry blossoms come out in the spring and it's the same temperature!

    Oh, I wish it were nice out here! I had a plan to take the kids to the park...maybe the zoo....but alas, it is soaked outside!!!

    I tried to take Lola for a walk...to the coffee shop...to read my book...

    but she fell asleep as soon as we got there and I've really been trying to work on the crib for naps...so back home it was Confused

    Our university has a site visit next week so things are really, really busy right now.  I'm currently popping on to de-stressify!
