Mess-maker, Is it just my kid?

I see other kids drink out of juice boxes. Mine just likes to squeeze his to make a mess and splash in the puddle. He tries to empty any cup he is given when he is not being closely watched so that he can play with the liquid. I just watched him dump a cup of shredded cheese that he asked for on the ground on purpose.

Seems like if I don't feed him myself and watch him like a hawk, it is just a disaster.

Eh, I think that's fairly normal toddler behavior. Even at age 3, Meredith would still squeeze juice onto herself when using a juice box. I don't know how much was intentional and how much was accidental.

Alex is also very bad about taking a few bites out of something, dumping it on the ground, and then screaming when the dog eats it.

DS does that too. Throws something on the floor and then watches the dog eat it saying he wants to eat it. So annoying. Especially when it is the last rice cake.
