So excited!

Our "NICU lunch crew" is having an unofficial reunion today!  Now that everyone is out of the NICU and the oldest babies are approaching their half birthdays we are meeting by the hospital for lunch without anyone having to rush off to feed a baby or talk to a doctor, all mommies and babies will be together! I know it's kind of silly to be so excited, but I can't wait to see everyone and their babies again, happy and healthy and home.  I am so glad to have all these women still in my life, we were there for each other during one of the hardest times in our lives.

I don't think that's silly at all - I think it's wonderful Our NICU wasn't friendly at all - people didn't even say hi, so when I hear about things like this I get really excited! Yay, fun, cool, enjoy!

Not silly at all... It's a huge accomplishment to have babies home from the NICU and even better that you had such an amazing group of women around you so that you could become friends and bond over such a life altering expeirence.

Not a whole lot really exciting going on here...My mom's uncle is hosting his annual 4th of July gathering and my whole pregnancy I looked forward to attending with Blake and Addison in tow...well Addison isn't home yet and if she were to come home in the next two days (doesn't seem possible) we wouldn't be attending. But we are debating if we should go with out her, for a little while and then go to the hospital or vice versa. I have a hard time doing things without her, espeically things that would be her "first".

Very cool - hope it's fun!  I'm was excited that we took my 2 1/2 year old and 5 month old (both preemies) to the beach on Friday.  They both did great, although my oldest was pretty scared of the water.  It's an improvement from last year, when he wouldn't get off the blanket, lol!
