Specks of Blood....Call or not to call

This morning I woke up went the bathroom, when I wiped I noticed little specks of blood.  I have an appt. with my peri doctor on Tuesday.  Should I wait or should I call him before the long weekend? 

Did anyone have little specks of blood after urinating?  TIA

It can't hurt to call.  I would make the call, and even if it's nothing, at least your mind will be put at ease a bit.  Hope everything is ok.

Did it hurt at all? I had this yesterday, accompanied by tiny specks so I called and it is most likely a very mild yeast infection. But like others have suggested, give your doc a quick call to be sure.

I'd call, if not go in. Is it definitely from your urine? If so, sounds like a bladder (or even kidney) infection which should be seen ASAP. If it's vaginal, I'm Rh negative so they told me to go right to the hospital with any spotting.

This happened to me last week, and I called. They wanted me to go ahead and come in to check everything out before the weekend, just to be safe! Everything was fine, and I didn't have to stress over anything during the weekend!

Always call with blood.

Hopefully its nothing to worry about, but let the doctor be the one to decide that.  And I'd definitely call ASAP rather than wait out the holiday weekend.

I would call, I was bleeding down there at one point during my 1st pregnancy and it wasnt from my vagina it was blood in my urine. I had a severe bladder infection and it caused me to bleed. It was really scary GL!
