We are doing a 4th of July BBQ - grilling some chicken and sausage and then making some pulled pork.
We are trying to figure out some sides that can be served cold/room temp or made ahead of time. No one coming really likes the typical sides (potato salad, coleslaw, beans, etc).
Anyone have some different recipes they like?

mac and cheese, fried okra, green beans/green bean casserole, corn on the cob, hashbrown casserole.
I think any sides go with BBQ really so you could make any sides you like, IMO.
