I was OBSESSED with this show when we were TTC. Kept hoping I would notice one of their odd symptoms and realize I too was pregnant. lol. Although, I very recently I found out a girl I went to high school with didn't realize til her 8th month and it was her 3rd kid! Crazy... not vouching for her intelligence, but apparently true. It's kind of like a crazy reality show that you just sit back and think "wow."

I watch it occasionally whenever I see it while flipping through the channels. A girl from my bible study group didn't find out she was pregnant until about 3 weeks before she gave birth. However, I don't get why she didn't suspect pregnancy because she said she initially went to the doctor thinking there was something else going wrong because her "abdoment" was swollen and she couldn't lose wait, and kept getting pains in her rib area. During the time she was pregnant she had rode roller coasters, had her wisdom teeth taken out, and who knows what else. Her baby is now, thankfully, a very healthy 1 year old

sounds like her dr. was about as intelligent as she was (sorry if she's your friend) not realizing what it could mean if your "abdoment" is swollen...

haha It's okay I have to agree there were some pretty obvious signs there.
I used to watch it a lot. Theres a girl in my town who actually didn't know she was pregnant, and when she went into labor she though she had alcohol poisoning. Luckily, her baby was born fine with no defects from her weekend partying.

There was a women in my home town that this happened to. Her youngest son was a little older than me in high school. She went to the ER one night with these strange pains. Turns out she was having Braxton Hicks contractions. She was like 7 months pregnant. She was 45 years old and had two other kids 17 and 22. She thought that she had been going through " the change" because of hot flashes and insomnia, moodiness, etc. She did not gain that much weight and what she did she chalked up to hormones, etc. Her little girl is now in the 2nd grade

My best friends called me really early one morning and told me her cousin was in labor. I know her cousin very well and I was just like, "What?! No! She's not pregnant!" We were all around her during her whole pregnancy and none of us knew! She had just gotten married 6 months before and had put on some weight after that, but who doesn't?!
Her daughter was about 3 weeks early, but otherwise very healthy! She had been sick at what must have been the beginning of her pregnancy, nit her doctor told her it was the flu. She has always had Irritable Bowel Syndrome, so she said anything she might have felt she figured was gas. She has always had irregular periods, and she took a couple of pregnancy tests that came back negative!
I though that show was SO stupid until that happened and now I can totally see how some of them wouldn't know. NONE of us knew with her and we were around her all the time. She definitely did not look or act pregnant! It was crazy!

I know everyone will bash me for this... lol.... but I would have never known I was pregnant. I honestly love this show and can completely understand how you might not know.
I have PCOS and my stomach hurts alot because of cysts. I very infrequently have periods, so that would not have told me anything. I'm a really heavy girl, so "showing" wouldn't have been an issue. I'm a titty baby, so I cry alot anyway, so being emotional wouldn't have told me anything. If I was gassy I would have blamed it on my taco addiction. I've been told since I was 16 I would not be able to have kids without fertility treatments. We've been trying for 11 years to conceive with absolutely no results and it never crossed my mind that I was pregnant.
The night before I went to the hospital because I was hurting, I took a pregnancy test because I have spares and I figured why not. I didn't even look at it because I had grown accustomed to negatives for 11 years. When I went to throw it away, I saw 2 lines and FREAKED out!!!!!!!!!!!! My first thought was that I had cancer or cysts that were going to rupture. Glad I took it first though, so I could tell them I was pregnant when I went to the hospital. They thought I was miscarrying, but I didn't. I still hurt, I have 2 LARGE cysts. one on each ovary and that's what's causing pain. Anyway... I can understand how you might not know.. it depends on your circumstances. Dang... that was a long winded reply.. lol. sorry
Re: Didnt know I was pregnant!!!!
Ha! There are days where it would be nice to be completely oblivious to it all.
I watch.
