Baby "wearing down" to go to sleep

Works like a miracle. Seriously. My LO was having troubles going to sleep at night/napping; I would be wanting to go to sleep at 1 or midnight and he would NOT go to sleep. Then I read about baby wearing to get him to sleep, and he FINALLY went to sleep last night and took a nap today! Definitely making this a routine. Just thought I would share in case anyone else was having this problem.
I used a RS (but any carrier would work) and walked around the house until he was asleep.

  • I take the sling off of me and lower him wherever he's sleeping and cover him up with the sling. Read it in Dr Sears' the baby book

What a great idea! I wear DD in a sleepy wrap, but she wakes up whenever I take her out. I was debating trying a ring sling, but now I think I have to!
