Did you cry when you heard the heartbeat for the first time? What about DH? Did you expect yourself/ him to?
I'm just curious about the reactions of others. We should get to hear ours for the first time on Tuesday. I am so excited! I do have a confession though, I'm afraid that even though I'm so excited that I won't cry and that it'll make me seem not as excited. This sounds dumb when I type it out.
Re: When you heard the heartbeat for the first time...

the only time that i cried was for my dd3 bc i had a m/c before her.

We just went to our initial prenatal yesterday and had our first u/s. When we heard (and saw) the hearbeat, DH cried but I didn't. I was more like "that is so cool," than teary. I'm just so in awe of this whole process. So, even if you don't cry, it doesn't mean you're not excited. I am so excited!!
I'm almost certain I'll cry. I bet DH will get a little misty eyed too. He has been sort of weird about the pregnancy (I don't think it's hit him at all) so maybe hearing/seeing something will finally make it a little more real for him.
