Along with my freelance proofreading work, I do a whole bunch of work for my mom's company. But it's like freelance work, when there's work to be done I'm busy and making good money, then it dries up for a few months and I have nothing to do and no income (no income of my own, DH has the most stable job in the world)
We just got a HUGE contract with an international corporation to do all their project management training! It's a company you've heard of. It's a TON of work! Which means I'm going to be consistently employed for the foreseeable future!
What rules is that I work from home most of the time, and when I go into "the office" it's my mom's home office. She might have to get some outside office space in order to handle this work load, since she'll have to bring on at least one more employee, but she already said it's totally cool for me to bring the baby into the office when I need to come in!
