Rec your carseat for F150 extended cab

LO is 20lbs now and his infant carseat only goes to 21lbs. I am looking at buying a Britax convertible but wonder how it will fit in the backseat of my truck. It goes up to 70lbs so I could have it rearfacing for a loooong time if it fits. If you do have a truck, what convertible do you use?

THANKS!

  • We have a Britax Marathon and a Radian Sunshine Kids SL. I love them both and the both fit but the Radian has a much smaller 'footprint', it sits lower on the seat, and the weight/height limit for the 5 point harness is MUCH higher. Its the last seat I will need to buy for DD (who is very tall). It was a little bit more $$ but worth every cent, IMO. The Britax Marathon also fits just fine, it just sits up higher and feels a little bulkier. They both install in 3 minutes or less with the LATCH.

  • We have an F-250 and the only thing that fits in perfectly is the Radian.

  • THANKS for the info! I never even considered the Radian before.
