Round Crib safety?

Does anyone know anything about the safety of round cribs?
MIL bought us one, and it's precious (from the Little Miss Liberty Round Crib Company) but now I'm nervous... with all of the recalls of drop side cribs, I don't know if ours falls into that category.
It's not a full drop side, but the side does come down about halfway. I Googled recalls and no round cribs from that company have been recalled, but I don't know if I want to take that chance.
Any feedback is appreciated! TIA!

When did you get it?
As of Tuesday the changes went into effect and its illegal to sell one that's no compliant
