Im not buying a separate changing station...My Mom purchased our crib set which includes the 5 drawer high chest, crib and dresser<--which i will put the changing pad on but it doesn't have cubbies like how normally a changing station would. Theres only drawers which Im sure I will be using for his clothes..I guess I can keep a drawer available but interested to know how all of you doing the same are organizing yours. Thanks!
I used the top of our dresser and all that I really needed was changing pad, wipes and diaper cream. Since yours doesn't have cubbies you might want to get a diaper stacker (the ones on the coat hangers don't take up much space and are usually on clearance because they are becoming less popular) My dresser did have cubbies so that's were I kept my diapers. Good luck.
I'm putting the changing pad on top of the dresser and bought a little diaper caddy to put to the right of the changing pad. The caddy is big enough to hold wipes, diapers, creams, and ointments.
We have a smaller dresser, so the changing pad is the only thing that fits on top. I use half of the top drawer for changing items like diapers, wipes, cream, etc. It works really well for us.

We had a little diaper caddy on the top of the desk we were using, next to the changing pad. It worked great up until the last couple months when DS decided it was fun to kick it off at every diaper change. Now the supplies are in the drawers.

DD's changing station is a very old hand-me-down chest that has been passed down for over 40 years. It has 5 small drawers and a cabinet with a hanging bar.
Top drawer is for diapers. The wipes and cream stay on top at the end of the pad by her feet. The other 4 drawers are for her clothes (we also have an armoire - there's no closet in her room).
I highly recommend the diaper caddy. We also just used a regular dresser and there isn't much room in it for diaper changing stuff. Works great.
Also, LO sleeps in our room for the time being and the diaper caddy is super convenient to bring into our room at night for middle of the night diaper changes. We got this one that came with a little changing pad -- just throw that on our bed -- easy peasy.

We're keeping creams, etc. in the navy bin on the left and diapers & wipes in the woven basket on the right.
