Graco Snugride 35 - remove infant support

our son  weights 12 lbs and we think we need to remove the infant support from the Graco sungride 35 car seat. Does anyone know when it shoild be removed?

Avery is a little over 12 lbs, and it still fits nicely on her. I did have to move the straps up though. After I did that the support seems to fit a lot better.

I don't have the Graco (I have the Chicco) but ours should come out at 11 pounds.  Check your manual (I did that online).
