Allie asked me to buy her a brother.

At breakfast this morning she asked DH to make an extra plate of waffles and strawberries for her sister.  DH told her she didn't have a sister.  She said it was a pretend sister.  Shortly after that she said "Mom lets go to Target and buy me a brother for my birthday."  I told her we couldn't buy a brother.  She turned in to Veruca Salt.  

It would be funny if this weren't the first time she has asked.

I don't know where you could buy one, but you can certainly rent one from me.  Depending on the day, the rent might be very cheap.
