Swaddlebees clearance fabric?

I'm debating trying to make a pail liner and saw that the swaddlebees website has cleareance sandwich PUL fabric for a decent price.  Has anyone purchased it before?  I'm thinking (hoping) that sandwich PUL is likely easier to sew that regular PUL?  And really, a pail liner seems like the easiest project to start with using PUL, since it doesn't really matter if the seams are straight, etc -- it's just going to line a trash can!

Thoughts?

  • I know nothing about their PUL, but check out their shipping.  It used to be kind of high.

  • Yes, I've purchased it before. Yes, sandwich PUL is easier to sew than regular PUL, because there is no "sticky" side. But regular PUL isn't all that hard to sew, either. And yes, Swaddlebees shipping is super expensive, so you're probably better served buying regular PUL from Joann's or Hancock Fabrics -- no shipping. Or see if fabric.com is still doing their crazy PUL clearance. They had certain colors (girly only) on sale for $4/yard last week, with free shipping for orders > $35.
