Tuesday question about OPKs

I'm using some internet cheapie OPKs to supplement my charting, because I suck at remembering to temp every morning (see chart - it's laughable). 

My question is:  Does the line gradually get darker each day the closer you get to ovulation?  Does that make sense?  I used them before for both bpf cycles, and I *think* I remember that they'd get a little darker each day, until they became clearly positive.  Or am I just being silly?

    Yep--at least they do for me.

    I had no line yesterday & today it was faint...by Thursday it will be a definite + I hope!

    Yes. Though sometimes they will go from faintish to super-dark if your surge comes on strong. All that matters is that the test line is as dark as, or darker than, the control line.
