sharp pain lower right abdomen

This has now happened twice and I am wondering if it is the ligament pains that everyone talks about.  Twice now when I have been sleeping I have gotten a horrible quick intense sharp pain...almost like someone is stabbing me.  It's in my lower right abdomen area.  To the point where I wake up screaming.  Happened last night and scared DH to death.  I am wondeting is this is ligament pain??  Both times it has been on the right.  I do have major back / joint pains on my right side where many many areas spasm....could be that as well.  I have my doc appointment next week and I will bring up.

It sounds like RLP to me.  Mine is usually on my lower right abdomen as well.  It hasn't been bad enough to make me scream though.

However, I got a charlie horse in my right calf last night that had me on the verge of screaming!

RLP all the way...DH had to call our midwife at midnight one night because it had me screaming I was in so much pain.  Had to go to L&D and the ER to make sure it wasn't anything else, but it was just RLP.  Enjoy!  (Ice and heat are amazing).

I had a bout with round ligament pain a couple of weeks ago and that was so not fun! I could barely stand up! Mine was on my lower right side, too! How strange that it's so common to have it there! I wonder why?

However, waking up with the calf cramps was probably worse!

I've been having those pains too (right side as well) and assumed it was RLP. Sounds like a common spot to have them!
