Reading the below post regarding people who are made me a little nervous. I haven't really noticed anything going on with regard to all of that and am just curious who else hasn't had anything like that going on yet. I had a reduction in 2005 and really want to be able to BF, so I have been looking for every sign that I'll be able to. I know I've read that it happens very late in pregnancy for some people, but wanted to see what your experiences are.

I've seen signs that my nips are changing, but nothing like actual lactation.
BTW- I'd love to have a reduction. Would you recommend it? Any advice?

No reductions here, and I had to look up what exactly the leakage product was at this point, but I think I'm only experiencing it occasionally in only one breast. Both seem to be about the same size though and neither one feels any different.
I haven't seen anything yet, but from what I hear, that's pretty normal. One of my friends started lactating around 20 weeks with one of her pregnancies, and the other did not start until the very end, so it can very greatly by person and by pregnancy as well.
I wouldn't worry about it for now!
I am very glad I did it. I was having headaches, back aches, shoulder pain, all kinds of stuff. The Dr. that did the surgery told me that the weight of trying to support them on my shoulders was creating indentions where my bra strap was and eventually I may start having numbness and tingling in my hands and fingers from the nerves being pinched. I was finally able to wear shirts with built in bras and sleep without a bra, not too long after ward. If you do it, PM me, I'll give you my email address and I'll give you some other suggestions based on my experience. My only regret would be if I can't BF. I was a 38DDD before surgery and am now (well, before I got PG), a 36 D. I didn't want them to be decreased a whole lot because I (and my Dr.) thought I would feel "flat chested" after having such massive melons before. I went to a surgeon who doesn't use drain tubes and HIGHLY recommend that over having tubes. Ask around to see if anyone you know has had one themself or knows of someone who has (and who they went to). I knew of 2 other people who had gone to my Dr., so I felt good about it. I had gone to 2 other Drs. prior to this one and it just didn't feel "right". I know it sounds silly, but you have to find a Dr. you are comfortable with and ask to see before and after pics.
When I had the surgery, he had said is a chance I wouldn't be able to BF, but he couldn't say for sure. My OB told me there is a really good chance I can BF though and several of her patients have had surgery and BF with no problem. She said not to worry too much about it because there are many people who can't BF even if they haven't had surgery and it's hard to say if someone will or will not be able to either way.

This is me, too...
no lactating yet. thank god.
I dont plan to breastfeed so I am hoping the milk never happens, but I am sure that I wont be so lucky.
Nothing for me!
It's reassuring to hear that so many other women haven't started yet either!
I never leaked a drop of anything prior to DD's birth. A few days after she was born I became severely engorged and had a massive milk supply. Although I was never able to BF her because of a medication I know I would have been just fine doing so!
I have no leakage or anything this time around either but I am anticipating that awful pain again after DS is born and will be binding myself shortly after I give birth...
