Will you call Samuel Sam? I love Sam, but I'm not a huge fan of Samuel.

I LOVE the name Samuel/Sam - probably because all of the Sam's I've ever know I've been very fond of.

I voted Benjamin (that's the name we're going with!), but Samuel was right up there in the names that we liked.  Unfortunately, we already have a cat named Sammy, and thought it might be weird to have 2 Sams in the house!
