It was good actually. Didn't have to spend too much time with MIL. There was lots of family and some that I get along really well with (only MIL and sFIL that I don't). There were lots of kids and my kids had a blast playing with family they never met.
The magic house was awesome. My kids LOVED it. They loved the pizza place, the baby hospital room, construction zone, water/sand toys, the beanstock, OMG they were in love! It was clean too.
We also did the zoo which was nice. The penguin exhibit was awesome! I am glad the animals were out. In Texas, in the summer the animals don't really come out--its just too hot. 108 today.
We didn't get a change to go to the arch (we were only there for 2 fully days).
We have zoo and Magic House memberships, so we go to both pretty frequently. Neither of my kids have ever been up in the Arch We go downtown to things near and/or under the Arch, they've just never been inside. Are you guys coming back anytime soon? There are so many great things to do with kids if you do.

I didn't really want to take them in the Arch. I hated the ride up when I went, its too stuffy but I wanted their pic under it...
No plans as of now but MH's family lives all around St Loius, well Sunset Hills and Brentwood.
