Recommend your favorite fitteds

Since it looks like I'll never be able to score a TT, DD or Bish, my last resort is to ask if anyone is selling theirs here (fat chance) or ask for your recommendations on your favorite fitteds.

I'd need something well suited for chunky babies with very chunky thighs, like DD which fits her great. Any and all suggestions are more than welcome

I haven't tried very many brands.  But, I did love my NB Muttaqin.  That doesn't fit her anymore.  I would probably invest in another soon.  They are so stretchy and soft and were a great fit on her chunky thighs.  The NB one fit her until she was 15 pounds, just like it said it would.

Does Muttaqin sell larger sized ones? She's already at 15 pounds so the NB wouldn't be of any use to us.

I LOVE my B4s (Bubu Bebe).  They have a crazy 3 part soaker system that is super customizable, they are soft, roomy, well made, and usually very easy to get.  You can get them surged or T&T and they are roomy in either style.  I like them almost equally to my TTs!

They do make larger mutts, but I don't find them to be nearly as absorbent as our other fitteds. Right now I'm loving Star Baby Designs, Little Fancy Pants and Sustainablebabyish snappless fitted.  HTH!

Goodmamas are probably my favorite fit wise...since all the drama went down the prices are more in line with other WAHMs and they aren't quite as hard to come by.  I also really like my Mamamade fitteds.

Turned GMs worked really well for us during the chunky thigh stage.  I also really like Orange Diaper Co fitteds.

I'm thinking the same thing. I think I need "Lizards & Frogs" for DS.

Goodmama. I like the older serged. The market for gms is down right now, so you can find them used pretty cheap.

Are SBish a "love/hate" kind of fitted? I've seen a few posts about them and it seems like it depends on the person.

I'll definitely look into Star Baby Designs and Little Fancy Pants. I'm open to all brands, I just don't want to have an unfortunate incident happen like the one the other bumpies just had to go through

I tried a GM, no luck. I hated the way it fit her 

I tried at the last Mamamade stocking, fail. Maybe for her next one I'll have more luck.

She was jacking up prices, "accidentally" calling fabrics imports and got called out on it, long wait times and inconsistent quality.  Turns out she has some diapers made in Texas and some in Utah.  Doesn't seem to have much control over the TX operation and the dipes coming from there were pretty drunken monkey looking.  Now she specifies which come from where, I'd stick to the Utah made ones.

Not to hijack this thread but I have one GM and like it so I was thinking of getting a few more when she has good prints, but I don't see where it's made given in her listings, could you tell me where I can find it so I can be cautious?

She wrote an explanation about it a month ago on how to tell the difference between the two styles.  Maybe on FB?  Or her blog?

From what I can tell most of the Instafluff is TX and the ones stocked on Fridays are Utah but just to be sure you may want to ask around.  Sorry I couldn't be more help, I only half follow all the drama.

We've tried a bunch!  I love our GMs, they fit both DD and DS well.  I also love the fit of our TTs, Sticky Peas, and B4s - we usually use the B4s and TTs for bedtime.  I have one Guerilla Fluff and a Mamamade that I like, but don't reach for enough.  If you're interested, I could let those go if you want to try those brands.

Right now my favorites are Star Baby Designs and Monkey Snuggles. I use one nighttime insert and one regular insert with the MS and she can go coverless for a couple hours. B4s aren't absorbent enough to go coverless for DD, same with the Sticky Peas. I have several B4s and a couple of GM CV fitteds for sale if you are interested. If I recall, we're in the same area so we could arrange a pick up instead of worrying about shipping.

I use the Workhorse fitteds from Green Mountain Diapers and I love them. They fit ds perfectly and this is what I use at night with a doubler. No leaks yet.

I like them because Ifeel like I can stuff it the way I want to AND get a good fit overnight using a snappi.

We have some Tots Bots/Bummis Bamboozle Stretch (the kind with Aplix) for DS that I really like. Although he's narrower in the waist, he has very chunky thighs, and the adjustability of the waist (with aplix) is what I love about them. They don't leave red marks on his thighs, either. When he outgrows his Size 1 I'm definitely getting him a few Size 2s.
