i see the same questions posted here all the time. i wonder if it would be helpful for people who come here to be able to click on the FAQ's for answers to the more common questions.
what do you guys think? good idea?
what other questions can you think of? i was thinking some questions could be:
~ what are some book recommendations on natural birth and breastfeeding?
~ what is a doula and how do i find one?
~ what is the difference between a midwife and nurse midwife?
~ how do i know if a mw is right for me?
~ what questions to ask my health care provider?
~ what are some natural birth induction techniques?
~ what to do for a breech baby?
~ what is a VBAC/HBAC and can i have one?
~ tears vs episiotomies, which is preferred?
~ what is placenta encapsulation?
~ GBS and the out of hospital birth. (or just GBS info regarding birth in general)
~ natural birth educational options (hypnobabies, bradley...etc.)
~ what are the benefits of a water birth?
~ what to do about negative reactions to my birth plan from friends/family?
Re: thoughts about putting together a FAQ's?
I think a FAQ is a great idea! I would suggest adding something about the differences between Hypnobirthing and Hypnobabies, since that question seems to come up fairly often. And maybe something about the Hypnobabies home study course, I think that's asked often, too.
Breastfeeding and pregnant!
I think it is an awesome idea. The cloth diaper FAQs are a big help, so I imagine these will be as well, as I have seen the same questions repeated over n over!
Maybe a question about eating/drinking during labor?
Who is your birth coach and why?
