We are going on vacation and G doesn't fit/ sleep in the Pack N Play anymore. I will have another bed for him to sleep in but he still sleeps in his crib at home. Any recommendations on what I should use/ do to keep him from falling out of the bed? I was going to buy a toddler blow-up for him but I didn't want to spend 80 dollars on a bed we may use once or twice. Can you recommend toddler bed rails that travel well (were driving). Any thoughts/ rec's would be super appreciated. I'm going nuts about this.
Re: Need Help: ie- vacation & toddler sleep
We've done a twin air mattress (down low to the floor) with a pillow boarder so he doesn't think he can crawl or walk away easily.
We've also used a queen or king sized bed at a family member's house or hotel and just put a pillow boarder all the way around him.
They're usually so tuckered out on vacations that they go down quick and sleep like stones.

my pretty tall 2 year old can still sleep in a regular size pnp....I would try it. We just transitioned to a bed so we wont need to for the vacation next week...but if he was in his crib still we would do that.
We also have a small mattress for the pnp that is more comfortable that the reg one.
I would try the twin airbed and put in on the floor, or just sleep with him in a bed yourself with pillows around.
