I'm a moron (KCK Diapers)...

So I just watched the you tube video on how to use a KCK One Diaper. ?Probably woulda been helpful if I looked into how to use it before I started putting it on Lucy. ?I bought this one a while back (beautiful work Glad!) and its been leaking/wicking and I couldn't figure out why, although I was 99% certain it was user error.?I was doing it completely wrong, no wonder. Duhhhhh...

  • And I would like to emphasize that I am in no way implying that her diapers leak/don't work. ?I'm now certain it was user error,

  • I have a feeling my kid is going to kinda look like her using dh as a guide. Ds looks just like me though so Dh might be outta luck with his DD looking anything like him.. hehe
  • Awwwww...it looks so much cuter on her bum than it did on my counter!  :-)

Promise me something, okay?  If the changes you make in the way you use the diaper don't make the wicking/leaking better, PLEASE let me know.  I really want you to love your diaper, and will work with you toward that end.  Pretty please?

    =)

  • Gotcha. ?I will try it on her tomorrow and I'll email you and let you know.

By the way, I really like the redesign on the nursing pads. ?They fit really well. ?You done real good. ?=) ?

  • Thank you!  The new design was a result of some fantastic customer feedback.  I PPH customer feedback.

    =)

  • LOL. I added the line in my signature so that people would know what a Ducati is. ?Not many people do... ?

  • But we actually don't squabble about it anymore so I should probably get to changing that part. ?=)

  • LOL...this is hilarious.  My DH was trying to tell me about Ducatis the other night.  Here's what immediately ran through my brain:

Ducati (pronounced: do-caugh-tee) noun; Italian motorcycle frequently known to cause newlywed squabbles.

  • Draw him away from the light, Glad! ?They get started and they just can't stop. ?It becomes an obsession. ?I don't know, its like they're part of this elite group of enthusiasts. ?I tease my DH that he's just a wannabe Italian. ?Although they does need their hobbies, I'll give them that much. ?

No, but seriously- we have the actual Ducati, a remote control Ducati, a mini-sized replica of the big Ducati, a gigantic Ducati race flag (which he tried to hang above our bed...), we each have Ducati shirts (except he has like three), and... ?*whispers* I own a pair of Ducati unmentionables that someone gave me for my bridal shower. ?I'm telling you. ?My DH reall does love Ducatis.

Keep your DH at a distance. ?Its better that way.?

  • Before we were married, I told him that I had huge issues with motorcycles, and my loved ones riding said vehicles.  I've had several motorcycle-related deaths and severe, debilitating injuries occur to close friends and family members, and have great respect for the equipment...and don't want to risk my husband to the dangers associated therewith.

The other day, DH was blathering something about riding a motorcycle to work and back.  I gave him the look.  He said, "What?  You mean that if I wanted a motorcycle, you wouldn't let me have one?!"  I replied that he's a grown man and can do anything he decides to do.  However, he would be entering into the decision without my blessing.

There will be no Ducati light in my house...I'm pretty well certain.

If you ever want to GTG, I can teach you how to produce the look on command.

    ;-)

  • I have a HAM for a husband. Wanna talk about an expensive, all consuming hobbie. He was on the board of directors till he finally realized that with DD coming he needed to get more projects done at work and home. Heck ds is getting a short day because we are all heading to Pacificon friday and saturday. Heck with the gas I guess we could have just stayed in the hotel again this year.

Pacificon was DH first weekend away we ever took with each other, and the first time a guy got a hotel room for us. Its also where we had our honeymoon. Yup, surround by geeks, nerds, and hams. greatfully the place has a heated swimming pool so we got to relax after working ( I did just say working on my honeymoon) all day.

  • SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  Don't say that word too loud!  (M-A-H, spelled backward)

My hubbs is a total dork.  He'd geek out on that stuff.

    ::hides laptop::

  • LOL Galadriel. ?I guess every DH has his hobby/all consuming interest. ?=)

  • Nighty Night ladies. ?Fun chatting with you.

I'll have to tell DH that I stayed up late talking about motorcycles. ?He'll get a kick out of it. ??

  • To counter act that a bit I got my license too. He does get tons of hand me downs from pp which OMG what we have to insure in this house isnt even funny. They look at me strange when I gave a number.

On the upside, dh hates to do almost anything without us so we have been to the tops of mountains that as we went up it went from cold/rain/then snow. That was a fun day. Hams have also been some of the nicest pp I have ever know until this board. Heck, one lady knitted us a vest for dd.

  • She looks FIERCE!  as Tyra would say... Big Smile
