I know 3 Brennans all over the age of 40, so it's been around a long time. I like it ok. I find it a little bland and I prefer Brendan.

I'm opposite of PP - all the Brennans I know are under 10 but I think it's a name that gets confused with Brendan/don.  People may think the name is something else when first hearing it.

I know a couple of kids named Brennan and a handful of people around my age with the name and I've never known anyone with this for a last name. I like it fine, I probably wouldn't choose it but I don't dislike it

I have a student in my class named Brennan, and he's one of the funniest kids I've ever meet.  I like it.  A lot.
