There are so many on HC- I like a few of the prints that are $15-18. I know there has been discussion about where they were produced being related to the quality (?)-- is this something I can figure out before purchasing?
Take a good look at the pictures. Everyone has a different idea of EUC, VGUC, GUC...I bought a GM described as EUC and found that it while it was soft and stain free, it had edge wear (a bunch of holes, not just one) and a snap on the soaker that had come off. When I sold it, I described the issues, but the person I sold it to re-listed it as EUC again. To me, EUC means only worn a couple of times and still silky and stain free. It depends on what you can live with too...I like stain free and not sherpa, and can deal with some edge wear, some people don't mind a sherpa soaker or shot elastic if they know how to fix it.
I agree with reading the listing carefully AND beware the "GUC, VGUC, EUC" labels. I too do not think a dipe should be listed as EUC unless has only been used a handful of times. I have bought countless dipes listed as "EUC" and then when I got them, rocked a soak, stripped them in RLR, give them an Ecover soak, sun them, and they're 100% better than when I got them and then I still only list them as GUC-VGUC when I sell them. It has been my experience that most used diapers are not really EUC. Some are and that is a nice surprise but don't bank on it unless you can see that the OBV is still shiny or they state that the dipe is still "silky".
Also, I agree with pp about knowing what's important to you. I am (apparently) an odd ball in that I don't care if the inner is "bleached" or stained. I am much more interested in how soft the diaper is. And I refuse to buy a diaper with edge wear. But I don't mind if there is a snap issue since I can send it into TGM HQ and they will fix it for free for me.
