They're right alongside our driveway just inside the property line. The previous owners planted the pear trees and we planted the peach 2 weeks ago.
I am planning to replace some of our landscaping with stuff that produces: I am clearing out the ground cover in front of the garage and planting 2 Concord grape vines. One of the shrubs will be an elderberry for the flowers and berries. I may plant 2-3 hazel bushes if I could keep the 84500 squirrels away from them.

Get a dog. We haven't seen a squirrel since we got ours! Of course that brings up another set of issues, but at least the squirrels, chipmunks and deer will leave your stuff alone! YWIA. Haha!

I might make a bunch for gifts. I have THREE pear trees and barring natural disasters, there should be a bumper crop this year. Tons of pears.
And hopefull next year my peach tree will produce something more than leaves.

I wish I had all those trees. My next house will have a ton of room for trees.
Everything sounds right about that recipe!
