movement near cervix

I am feeling a lot of movement in my cervix the last few days. I'm sure it's not a big deal but it is really uncomfortable - not painful but it makes me jump because it just feels odd.

Anyone else feeling this? I wonder if there are moves I can do to get her to move head down! hah.

  • I've been the exact same way since week 22! I don't know of anything to do to get him to move, so I'm just getting used to it now.

  • About an hour ago this happened to me! I got the double-whammy--a punch near my belly button and a kick near my cervix. It made me jump. It doesn't hurt, it just feels weird and I can't help but flinch.
  • LO has been kicking me in the cervix for days.  It's definitely startling when it happens, that's for sure.

  • Me too.  Mine has been kicking my cervix, bladder & tailbone for the last 2 weeks.  It's driving me nuts.  My tailbone this morning felt bruised!  I asked my dr about it yesterday, and she said it's normal.  The baby is probably breech & getting her tiny feet into uncomfortable areas.  I keep trying to shift positions to get her to move, but she's stubborn!

  • I have been getting kicked there since I started to feel the baby! And it is driving me crazy! It is such an uncomfortable feeling that it's almost hard to enjoy feeling the baby Sad I just wish the little one would move up a bit and make momma more comfortable...

I feel your pain - literally!  As far as I can tell, she's still head up and feet down and she loves to kick me in my bladder and my cervix and it is not fun.  The only thing I can do to try to get her to move is lay on my side and hope she moves!

  • Our baby is head down and I get that weird feeling (with a little pain) on my cervix when she has the hiccups.  It's so strange and the repetition makes it weirder!
