I know this isn't the nurseries board but I know you guys so I had to share here. I just ordered this fan, the light fixture is attached, it doesn't look it from the picture.

Hehe! I am pretty sure I'm guaranteeing she turns out to be a tomboy or super gothic with how girlie the room (and her current stash of clothes) will be.

What color are your floors? Are you buying rug?
Our floors are unfortunately light blue carpet, and I don't think we are changing them for the time being. I would LOVE to install dark hardwood but I don't think it's in the budget. Maybe for her room only but I think that would look kinda funny since the rest of the house is carpeted.

I have a green carpet in our future nursery that I would love to rip out. But we figure it's a safe place for little girl to play and we don't mind if it gets beat up. The carpet is not in bad condition, but not at all what I would choose. Like you, I'd love to rip it up and see what condition the wood floors in. I'm sure your daughter is going to love playing in her room!

We got the same style glass drawer pulls (only in opaque black) when we refinished an old desk (aqua crackle finish). They look fantastic!
Can't wait to see the finished nursery!
