Betas and U/S's

I had my second beta yesterday (14dp3dt aka 17dpo) and I am at 497 and my progesterone is at 40.. both are great numbers according to my nurse.  I have to go back next monday for another beta and my first u/s (mainly to check for ectopic pregnancy.. guess this is general practice for my RE).  I cant wait for next Monday to get here.  Does anyone know if it is possible to find out if there is one or two babies at a 5.5 week u/s?  The only reason I am asking is that I had 2 embryos transferred (IVF) so there is a chance of twins.

You should be able to see how many you have at 5 1/2 weeks.  There will be 2 sacs if there are 2 babies.  I have my first u/s next Thursday and I will be 5 weeks 5 days and we are so curious to see how many we have!  We also transferred 2 blasts so could go either way.  Good luck to you!

Good luck with your first u/s!  I had a 3dt and glad that they did not wait as none of the remaining embryos made it to day 5 (no frozen embryos for us).
