I started to make my CDs last night.  Man was just the prep work difficult!  I was cutting out patterns and fabric for over an hour and I'm still not half done!  The PUL in itself took about half an hour.  I'm dreading the fleece with my crappy scissors. 

Hopefully once I get to the actual sewing this will go by MUCH faster lol

Good luck! I would love to make a diaper. I'm a sewing novice, but I hope to get there one day (hopefully, she won't PL by then).

Sharpen your scissors! I use the sharpener that came with our kitchen knives.

What pattern are you using? Cutting out always sucks but it should go faster once you get to the sewing. If you can't get your scissors sharpened, try a new pair you can pick up a decent pair from Joann's for a good price with a coupon. Stick with it! It is rewarding to see it all put together and to have a cute little dipe that you made!

And then don't cut anything with those scissors other than fabric.  DH knows not to touch my fabric scissors, or else he suffers the consequences!
