6 Week Ultrasound Update (PIP)

So... I had my 2nd ultrasound today. The gestational sac has grown significantly, and this time, we saw the yolk sac and the embryo. We even heard our LO's amazing little heartbeat, which is going strong at 124. The appointment could not have gone any better. In fact it went so well that I did not even mind having my pap smear done, which I normally dread. My OB said this pregnancy seems to be going strong and progressing just as expected. The little bean measures at 6 weeks 1 day (apparently I ovulated I a little late), which pushes the EDD to 2/12/12. We go back for another follow-up and ultrasound in 4 weeks! How we can wait that long before seeing our LO again? I don't know! Anyway, I cannot be any happier, and just can't help but share the joy.
