6 weeks - still looking for that morning sickness.

I am getting worried because I haven't had much for morning sickness. Very mild and short lived bouts of it. I've had to pee more often and I think my breats are slightly sore and swollen. But nothing that screams "you're pregnant!" When I first found out I felt pregnant, and as time goes on I don't have the same overwhelming feeling? I am sure I am thinking waay too much into this, but it scares me. Maybe I am just getting more used to the idea?? I don't have an appt until next Wednesday but just wanted to see if anyone was in my shoes?

Re: 6 weeks - still looking for that morning sickness.

  • I do not have real morning sickness yet either. A few food aversions and sometimes I feel a little sick (but I think that is more from my constipation issues...).

My other symptoms include: sore breasts, constipation, fatigue.

  • Honestly be thankful that you haven't had any yet. Trust me you are not out of the woods! But I wouldn't wish for it. I had it and it was horrible. I could barely move for a week. Not fun. I'm in a moment of not anything too bad but I'm not letting my guard down.

  • I had the same random bouts of nausea until the middle of my 6th week. Nausea has been pretty headstrong since then! Here's hoping you get just enough to remind you that you're pregnant:)

  • I only felt nauseated a couple of times during my first pregnancy. Never threw up. Not everybody gets m/s! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

  • I've never seen so many peole looking to have m/s - it is just too cute! Enjoy that you don't have it. I didn't have it with my first and I currently don't have it now - everybody's bodies are different and react differently. Just because you don't have it, it doesn' mean you won't get it or that there is something wrong.

    Feel lucky!

This! While having m/s is a good sign (because it's a very clear indication that HCG levels are high) it does not follow that no m/s is a bad sign, because not all women react to the HCG in that way. Your symptoms may be mild but it sounds like they are there, so count your lucky stars, and try not to worry!!

Haha, I know! I've read that m/s often means less chance of m/c - I think sometimes the books and info I read make things worse. Thanks everyone for the support! :)

  • i would feel lucky to be at 6 weeks with no MS :)  ..i know some ladies dont experience MS at all during their pregnancies. My MIL and two friends had zero MS throughout their pregnancies and had perfectly healthy babies. I would relax and enjoy your pregnancy day by day :)

  • I haven't had any either, a few food smells have gotten to me but no true m/s yet. Not all women get m/s, its not a sign of a bad pregnancy, it just means you are lucky!!

  • I am so hoping I am one of the lucky ones not to get m/s this time.  I was miserable last time for 5 weeks.

  • I haven't experienced anything either.  I hope I am one of the lucky ones.
  • some women just don't get sick, yet have other sympotoms. My sister never had m/s with her second. I don't have it yet either, but I am gaging a lot.
