Do you thrift?

We have some pretty awesome thrift stores here and I am thinking of going to a few either today or tomorrow.

I know for sure that I am looking for some old scrabble games so I can use the pieces for some crafts.

What else do you usually hunt at thrift stores?

Work pants/shorts for DH b/c he destroys them.  He works outside in pure muck

Books.  I have shelves of books from Goodwill.

Anything my kids will use, glass storage jars ( I don't like plastic), the occasional adult clothing item but that is very hit or miss.

Oh, and wine glasses.  I like having a random assortment in our wine glass rack in the kitchen.  People keep buying me matching sets, but I like my mismatched glasses

I love thrift stores. I can't think of a particular thing, I just go and look around.

I shop for everything there! I love thrift stores. I found an aden +anais sleeping bags at the goodwill for $1.99. They sell for $32.

WoooHooo. It's going to be great for summer.

I like getting my books from the thrift store because they are so cheap. I also have gotten knitting needles and crochet hooks for 25 cents each.  I occasionally buy clothes from the thrift store, ususally most of the stuff is ugly but I have found some nice things occasionally sometimes with the original tag still on.

The thrift store is also great for getting stuff for costumes.
