Not wanting to eat after 6 week growth spurt?

Have any of you had this happen?

She's been eating like a machine the past 3-4 days.  Last night, she ate at 8:30, 11:30, 2:30 and then she woke at 5, took 1 oz and went back down.  She then woke up at 6:30 (her normal waketime) and I was expecting a starved child once again and she didn't eat at all.  I put her down about 45 minutes ago and she's out cold.

So, normal? I hope she's not sick or something

We didn't experience that much of a cut-back, but he is now eating only 3 oz at a time instead of 4, and much more slowly.

We're not there yet but after the 3 week one I felt that D was more interested in sleeping than eating. I think the extra sleep the days following the eating facilitates the actual growth period now that they have all of that extra energy. Just my theory.

I completely agree about the sleeping.  It's so weird that she didn't want to eat. That's never happened before. haha

This is currently happening with us as well. E went from eating a TON to falling asleep after less than 2oz every time. I really think it's part of the growth spurt process!

i think alayna is coming out of it..hopefully. she ate 3 oz this morning and was about gagging on it and that was after eating at 9:30 last night and not getting up till 6:30

C started eating less overall after her 6week growth spurt. She was eating 32oz per day, now she is down to about 25oz. That is also when she started sleeping 8 straight hours at night.

My LO is eating a lot less now as well.  And spitting up more.  He isn't sleeping a lot more, he is just up, cranky and not eating.  I am hoping it is just part of the 6 week phase and he is back to his normal self soon.
