I had a great weekend, but I ate a lot of food I probably shouldn't and my system is super unhappy. my ILs had their annual Garlic Festival Boot Camp party which was awesome and then we had a Father's Day BBQ this afternoon at my dad's. The result: the scent of garlic bread makes me want to yak and when I came home, I immediately went and threw up. How long does this part last again? I could really do without the nausea/vomiting bit!
Re: Ugh...my hand smells like vomit
for me? The whole damn pregnancy.
But for most people - the 1st trimester.

With pg #1 garlic made me naseous the whole time.
Some never get it. Some have it the whole time. Some have it let up after 1st tri. Some have it last 1st tri and 3rd tri and get a reprieve in the 2nd.
Point is? You never know. AND what happens in pregnancy 1 doesn't necessarily repeat for consecutive pregnancies.
I'm sorry you're feeling crummy. I hope the yacky part is over soon so you can enjoy the rest.

Mine lasted until right around 15 or 16 weeks. I lost about 12 pounds and finally asked the doc for some meds. They helped wonders. I had tried everything before that point.
I was good until about 30 weeks and then I started vomiting again. It felt different than the first tri though and I attribute it to being more compacted and having a lot less room for my stomach. Now I just eat small frequent meals.
