Hubs called me lazy today!!!!

I had specific plans for today.

Fold about 2-3 loads of laundry that was washed through the week that didn't make it into the dresser!

Find a new storage spot for things that have been stored in the nursery closet.

Clean the kitchen.

That is pretty much all the energy I have with my back and crotch feeling like they are being split apart.

He decides he is going to detail vacuum the whole house, go to the grocery, clean the windows, etc etc....

When I told him I didn't have the energy to do everything on my list and his he got irritated with me and called me lazy.  He has been super patient, but I think he finally got annoyed that I cannot keep up anymore today!

Booo for a crappy hubby day!

"Sorry honey, I'm too busy growing a human to clean the kitchen... j@ack@ass."

That sucks. I hope he comes to his senses and apologizes: I understand we must not be the easiest people to live with at the moment, but neither are our finicky fetuses and we're soldiering through it. Our SOs should be reminded of that when they forget...

My H likes to make little remarks too.. I've kept up mostly. The bathrooms and kitchen even laundry are always clean. I might let our bedroom slack a little and not always put away Aeralyns toys every night but im chasing around and active 13 month old and just exhausted.. I have no real excuse but its not like the place is a disaster! Psh on men.

Wow! Maybe its national boooo husband day! I was basically called lazy too!! He was working on the new closet in our kitchen he is building, so I took that chance to sit and watch the Bachelorette from last monday... BIG mistake! Apparently I was supposed to "do something" not sit around...  It has started a whole day of fighting. At one point to was bawling my eyes out in the shower, wondering if we should even get married in Aug.

Its better now, but I am still mad at him.

and FYI... what is he doing now...?? sleeping on the couch cuddled with DSD while she watches Jetsons.

A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a Cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?' 'Yes,' was his incredulous reply. She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.

Fannis- Love it, thanks for the laugh!

Honestly, my hubs helps out around the house way more than most men from what I hear from my friends, etc.  I think he just wanted to get everything done today and forgets that I cannot be superwoman!

For the record, I finished the kitchen and the the laundry.  He finished his list and is at the grocery (which was on my original to-do list).

Of course, the nursery closet still needs to be tackled, but storms are expected tonight so it's not like we can have a bonfire or a deck party- so fun Saturday night with the closet I presume!

I haven't spoken to him since he called me lazy... maybe I will when he comes hope from the grocery! Wink

LMAO!  I'm sorry, I'm a lurker, but I couldn't not comment on the bolded.  Um, yeah, it IS his fault you're pg--unless you have some other guys on the side.  Too funny that that was his comeback.  LOL!
