WWYD potty training ?

Hi

My daughter wanted to start peeing in the potty, and has been doing pretty well in her pullups and undies.

The thing is my amazon order of a humongous box of diapers came in Would you return the big box and just grab a small package for just incase or would you hold on to the big box?

TIA

  • I'd hold on to the big box for LO #2

I would do this, too. We might also be in the minority but I still have Pull-Ups in the house and the boys know it. They have come in handy during tummy bugs/GI icky sickies. We dealt with one bad bug and I went thru so many pairs of underwear that the next time they got something I just threw on the pull-ups because I was that desperate. I had kept them hidden for fear they'd be confused but now they are to the point where they know they are there for special circumstances.

That's what we did. We threw them away by putting them in a big garbage bag and outside by the trash. Later I brought them in and put them at the top of #2's closet when #1 wasn't in the room.

  • I would just hang on to them if they are already on my door step.

#1 Just because a child requests to pee in the potty (multiple times) doesn't mean they are ready to potty train (despite everything our mothers have told us.)

#2 Diapers don't go bad and 2-3 years from now they probably won't be any cheaper.
